Before graduating from UCF, I was employed by a top local advertising agency in Orlando as an art director; designing publications and other marketing materials for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, the University of Central Florida and more.
In 2004 I moved to England where I continued my design work and focused on traveling abroad and doing volunteer work with local non profit organizations. I returned to Orlando in 2005 and wanted to make a change and shift my focus to Real Estate. Now a multi-million dollar producer, I have the opportunity to help people with the biggest transaction that they will ever make, while also becoming part of their story.
An avid runner, I completed the 2010 Disney Marathon and the NYC Marathon, and will be running the 2011 Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C.
I continue to give back to my community as a member of the Board for Directors for Quest Inc., helping children and adults with developmental disabilities, and Nap Ford Community School, a K-5 charter school, with a particular focus on health & wellness, located in the Parramore neighborhood of Downtown Orlando.
I was nominated for the prestigious 2011 Orlando Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” for my work with Quest Inc., Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 by the Women's Council of Realtors, and have received the Keller Williams Silver Medallion Award for outstanding productivity. I've received the Keller Williams Cultural Award for staying abreast of professional trends, being in a constant process of self-education, and imparting this knowledge to my peers in an unselfish manner, thereby fulfilling an essential leadership role. I sit on the Agent Leadership Council for my real estate office, a distinguished position held by only the top 20% of producers, and chair the KW Cares Committee, helping to raise money for Keller Williams real estate agents in need.
I'm a member of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, Florida Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the Orlando Regional International Council, Women's Council of Realtors and a graduate of the 12th class of the City of Orlando's Mayor's City Academy.
I have earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation, which means that a real estate professional has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service by securing a strong educational foundation. Realtors with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better service and protect their clients.
I have earned the Accredited Buyer Representative® (ABR) designation, which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
I have earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) designation, which means I have a specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry, and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. Through comprehensive training and experience, CDPEs are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today’s market, specifically short sales.
And I am also an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS), well versed in luxury housing trends, specialized luxury buyer and seller needs, and development and delivery of unique high level services.
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Orlando real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
When you need the expertise of a professional agent, please contact me. Your satisfaction is, and always will be, my top priority!
